As a Professional Staff
Nurse, you will have the authority, responsibility, and shift accountability
for the delivery of nursing care through the use of the nursing process. In
collaboration with the Unit Manager and other health care professionals, you
will apply competent clinical knowledge and skills to achieve quality care
outcomes. You must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide
care that is relevant to residents, as well as apply principles of growth and
development over the life span. You must possess the ability to assess and
interpret resident data needed to identify each resident's requirements
relative to his or her age specific needs.

Professional Staff

Minimum 6 months experience.

BSN preferred.

Staff Nurse:

0-1 year experience.

Completion of UPMC student nurse internship or student clinical transitions
course at UPMC preferred.

BSN preferred.

Graduate Nurses that are eligible for the State Board Licensure and
Professional Staff Nurses with nursing experience will be considered for this
position. Please note that the below salary may vary pending years of
experience and education of the selected candidate.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

+ Registered Nurse

+ Act 34 Criminal Clearance

+ Basic Life Support or Cardio
Pulmonary Resuscitation

+ Older Adult Protective Services
